Forest School Workshops

Forest School is an innovative educational approach
to outdoor play and learning
to encourage and inspire individuals of any age
through positive outdoor experiences by participating in engaging, motivating and achievable tasks.

WORKSHOPS DATES:

Fire Making: “Building a Fire Site”
Sat. 25th January (3pm).  Booking required.

Bugs Hotel Making,
Sat. 1st February (3pm), Thur.  12th June & Tues. 17th June  (10am aimed at schools and families with Under 5’s). Drop in.
Booking required for schools/nurseries.

Making a Tree House and Dens.
May Sat. 3rd (Planning, Building)
& 10th (Decorating, playing, building dens)Drop in. 3pm

Fire Making Workshop 1 (“Roasting veggies”)
February Sat. 8th , 15th & 22nd  (3pm).
(Health & safety, lighting & using fire skills to be built gradually every session). Booking required

Fire Making Workshop 2 (“Songs & Stories by the Fire”)
May Sat. 24th &31st & June Sat 7th. (3pm) Storyteller and drummers special guests.

Fire Making Workshop 3 (“Cooking Outdoors”)
June Sat. 21st & 28th & Sun. 29th. (3pm).
